The Fool's Life

My day starts in the dark

In the veils of night.
I thought I'll dare
I thought I’ll change
I thought I’ll break the barrier range.

Then I slept and I dreamt.
I was daring
I was yelling
I was marching in the middle of the road
To create the new order world.
I spoke about the system
Its rotten rules and immaturities-
To contain my visions and imaginations
I sang, I acted, and I fought for-
Those faces lost in the crowd
I shed blood for the million people-
Who trusted my word.

I wake up with the morning rays
To see a progeny of the yesterdays.
I’ve a second of thoughts in vein
But I go to office
I work till night
I eat my food
I go to the icons-
I light candles and I pray;
‘Please save the world, please make peace, please, please, please, I am helpless.’
I come back home,
Safe and tired
Unsatisfied and stressed.

Now it’s night again
I will think now
I’ll dream now
But I say sorry though.
For what?
For being a born fool
Or being part of normal pool?
Or is every normal man is a fool?
